5.18 Continuous big q-Hermite --> Hermite

If we set a = 0 and in the definition (3.18.1) of the continuous big q-Hermite polynomials and let q tend to one, we obtain the Hermite polynomials given by (1.13.1) in the following way :

If we take and in the definition (3.18.1) of the continuous big q-Hermite polynomials and take the limit we find the Hermite polynomials defined by (1.13.1) with shifted argument :
